Occupational Therapy

The Occupational Therapy Programs’ mission is to educate and prepare a diverse and eclectic group of occupational therapists to promote health and well-being through occupation as practitioners, consultants, educators, and researchers in a variety of socio cultural, professional, geographic, and institutional contexts. The programs aim to be supportive and responsive to the continuously changing needs of the local NYC and wider community. In line with the university mission, the program recognizes the importance of its location in NYC and seeks to link its research and teaching to the vast resources of a great metropolis.
