PASIG Student Scholarship

Our DPT students from the Class of 2024 Margaret J. Wiss, Alexandra Smith, Angelica G. Pastrana, Tessa O'Hara, Gabrielle Ayoub, and Adriana Ardila have been honored with the Annual PASIG Student Scholarship for the academic year 2023-2024. Their outstanding abstract, title "The Inter-Rater Reliability of the Airplane Test and Star Excursion Balance Test," demonstrates their commitment and academic excellence. Under the guidance of Dr. Laurel Abbruzzese, these students have devoted countless hours over the past year to advancing the field of physical therapy.

The recognition of their hard work culminated in a well-deserved award presentation during a PASIG business meeting held at CSM this February. To qualify for this esteemed scholarship, our students met rigorous criteria: they are enrolled in a DPT program accredited by the highest standards, their abstract secured acceptance to the esteemed CSM conference, they actively participated in CSM, served as authors on the presentation, and played an integral role in presenting their findings to the wider physical therapy community. We couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments. Congratulations!
