Q Clinic: Columbia Medical for LGBTQI Youth

Columbia medical students from the Class of 2021 are also members of the Q Clinic, which provides primary care services to the LGBTQI community in New York City.

Q Clinic provides free primary care services for members of the LGBTQI community, especially those who are underserved, underinsured, or resource- and housing-insecure. We are committed to respectfully serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, and other gender non-conforming communities in New York City.

Columbia medical students and faculty formed the Q Clinic in October 2015 to address the lack of comprehensive primary care services tailored to the unique and diverse needs of people who identify as LGBTQI. The clinic offers tools for health management and provides free STI/HIV lab screenings, subsidized medications, PrEP, and flu shots.

Q Clinic is located at 446 W. 36th St., 3rd Floor, in a partnership with Metropolitan Community Church of New York.

Walk-in hours are every Wednesday at 6-7:30 p.m. The clinic also accepts appointments by phone at (347) 565-5042.

No ID or insurance is required to receive care at Q Clinic. All care is confidential.
