The VP&S Ultrasounds
The VP&S Ultrasounds is the official a cappella group of Columbia University Irving Medical Center. We are a co-ed group that rehearses one hour per week and performs at campus events such as Coffeehouse and the VP&S Revisit Showcase. We sing a range of genres—we've done Stravinsky and we've done DUBSTEP —and we love to have members suggest songs or bring in their own arrangements.
Why Join The VP&S Ultrasounds?
A cappella can be tough because:
- You aren't accompanied by instruments.
- A lot of the time, you'll be singing nonsensical syllables to imitate instruments instead of words.
But it's also great fun because ...
