Our goal is for students to feel at home as part of the Columbia University community. To this end, faculty and administrative staff work together to create a student-centered experience.
The Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs (ODMA) at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (P&S) was established in 1968 to directly support the college’s focus on recruiting, counseling, and nurturing a diverse student body.
The P&S Club is the most comprehensive student activities organization in American medical education, currently sponsoring over 70 co-curricular and extracurricular organizations. These organizations represent the vast interests and talents of our medical students, including athletics, the performing arts, student advocacy, and community service.
