Meet the Columbia Program in Physical Therapy's administrative staff
Administrative Assistant, Communications and Marketing
Vanessa is responsible for managing the Program's website, social media and other communications and media projects. Additionally, she manages the Program's Continuing Education courses. She is also an award winning TV/video and film producer. Her work has screened on broadcast and cable television, as well as in numerous film festivals and independent venues.
MPA, Administrative & Business Manager
Gina keeps our finances and administrative matters in order. She is responsible for the overall administrative and business management of the physical and occupational therapy programs including finance and budget, human resources issues, and contract review for clinical education.
Administrative Coordinator, Clinical Education
Born and raised in Manhattan, Stephanie attended Indiana University's Sports Medicine/Athletic Training Program and has a background in many sports. Over the years she sustained several injuries that sent her to physical therapy. She uses her experience to assist students with their clinical choices and always offers an ear and sense of humor should they need to talk. Stephanie is an avid equestrian and proud mom of a 28-year-old horse named Sinatra and an 18-year-old horse named Winnie the Pooh. She also has a rescue dog named Benny who is studying to be the DPT program's first therapy dog! She is a die-hard Broadway fanatic, and is always ready to recommend a show.
Raysa is the Administrative Aide/Receptionist for Programs in Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. From her post at the front desk, she is responsible for assisting faculty, staff and students with administrative matters. She also coordinates room schedules and events . During her free time she enjoys dancing salsa, which she has been doing since she was four years old.
Administrative Coordinator, Admissions & Program Initiatives
Cynthia works with students throughout all phases of their Columbia PT experience. She is responsible for processing applications from prospective students, and scheduling interviews and open houses. She also produces events, such as fall orientation, the white coat ceremony and program graduation. Additionally, she works with state physical therapy boards to facilitate graduating students' applications for their licensing exams.
