Join us for a discussion on the opioid epidemic and participate in a free naloxone training! Students from all of the health science professions are invited to join us and discuss how their profession has addressed the epidemic. Learn more about your peers on campus and receive training to recognize and respond to an overdose and equipped with naloxone. Food and beverages will be provided.
This event is co-sponsored by the Columbia Commons IPE Student Advisory Board and AIMS Council, and training is provided by the Washington Height CORNER Project.
In conjunction with this event we are holding a supply-drive to benefit CORNER project’s sister organization, New York Harm Reduction Educators. Please consider donating a hygiene product (shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, towels, robes, slippers/flip flops, detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets) to this important organization.
