Amir Burstein, PT  is retired and lives in Los Osos, CA.  He currently invents and develops rehabilitation devices.

 

Class of 1995

PT faculty member and program graduate Lisa Yoon, PT, DPT  writes, "Some classmates of the Columbia University Physical Therapy Class of 1995 got together for brunch on Sunday, January 12th at Samba Kitchen in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC. People

came from near and far (California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey) to reunite and talk about what we have been up to lately. We talked about memories from school, what defines our life today, who has heard from whom, and where and in what area we practice in, if in PT. We were able to connect with people that we had not seen since graduation!"

Steven G.Wilkinson, PT, PhD

Steve Wilkinson, PT, PhD has been appointed Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy and Program Director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP). Wilkinson has served as the Interim Chair and Program Director for the past ten months. Prior to that, he had served as the DPT Associate Program Director since 2016. 

Before joining RMUoHP in 2015, Wilkinson was a Senior Manager of Rehabilitation for St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID. He managed an outpatient, hospital-based clinic that included physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and counseling for pediatric and adult patients. Additionally, he was part of the Executive Leadership Council, which oversaw 22 clinics. Wilkinson began his career in academia at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, where he was an assistant professor of physical therapy.

Recently Wilkinson completed the Education Leadership Institute (ELI) Fellowship program, a year-long program intended to develop visionary, innovative, and influential leaders in higher education. ELI is a collaboration between the American Physical Therapy Association, the Academy of Physical Therapy Education, and the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy.

Sarre Gellar Boglioli and Steve Boglioli welcomed their fourth daughter, Ivy Elizabeth, on October 7, 2019. Sari writes, "big sisters Charlotte, Emily and Hazel could not be more excited!"

Bryanna Strang (Nowiki)  got married on October 12, 2019, in Banff, Alberta, Canada with fellow alums Blair Callaghan, Tanner Crass, Veronica Crass (Glenn), Emmi Aguillard, and Lilly Mercer, all class of 2016, in attendance.

Rebecca Kesting, DPT, OCS, and fellow alum Heather Heineman, DPT, OCS (class of 2013) are speakers at a webinar given by NYU Langone to be held on March 11, 2020, entitled "The Peripartum Athlete: Musculoskeletal Care Before, During and After Childbirth." Learn more here.
