Career Development & Advancement
The Office of Faculty Professional Development, Diversity and Inclusion for CUIMC offers a number of programs in workshop, mentoring, and lecture formats that focus on general career development, academic advancement, and other topics that may apply to all faculty at CUIMC. Many of these programs are offered on annual basis but for those that are not, any enduring materials that may still be relevant are provided on this page.

In this series, the leaders of the Committee of Appointments and Promotion (COAP), who are directly involved in the promotion process, discuss criteria for promotion and how faculty can optimize their academic profiles.

This session focuses on specific ways in which faculty who are on tenure track or who are thinking of moving to tenure track can prepare for a positive review. Chairs and members of the CUIMC COAP provide strategies on how to prepare for tenure. A Q&A session follows.
