5 - Terminations
Overview
An appointment as an officer of instruction or research may end as a result of any of the following actions: a decision not to reappoint, resignation, the discontinuation of a unit of instruction, dismissal, or retirement. Retirements are covered under Section 6-Retirements of the OFA Transactions Manual. The remaining termination transactions are covered here and are divided into resignations, which are voluntary terminations, and all other terminations, as follows:
