LGBTQ+ Initiatives

The CUIMC Office of Faculty Professional Development, Diversity & Inclusion works collaboratively with CUIMC faculty and groups to support the needs of its LGBTQ+ community. Through special lectures, workshops, facilitated mentoring opportunities, resources and networking initiatives, the Office aims to promote a more affirming, diverse and inclusive environment.

Peer Mentoring Series for LGBTQ+ Faculty

The Office of Faculty Professional Development, Diversity & Inclusion facilitates a regular peer mentorship program designed to support the academic needs of CUIMC's LGBTQ+ faculty community. OUTlist

The OUTlist aims to provide a forum for faculty to self-identify as LGBTQ+ members of the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons community to help facilitate connections with one another, develop a community, and foster mentoring and collaborative networks across the school. All are welcome to join.
